About Our Company
Maryland office
American Fire Protection, an Automatic Sprinkler/Piping Contractors Corporation, has been providing fire sprinkler protection since 1974, servicing Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia. The Company has been family run since its incorporation. We provide design, fabrication, installation, service, and inspections of fire sprinkler systems of all types, including fire pumps. We will design systems for new construction and retrofit for renovation/restoration projects. In the continuing effort to supply our customers with the attention they need we offer 24-hour emergency service. Our company treats its customers, suppliers, and personnel with respect and dignity.
Audrey L. Bolyard is the President of AFP, and as a woman
owned organization AFP provides equal opportunities to everyone within the organization or seeking to join. Many of our employees have been a part of our team for over 10 years, and some as long as 28 years. Operating for over 40 years it continues to grow and prove to be one of the leaders in the industry while still providing top quality care to all of its customers.

AFSA - American Fire Sprinkler Association, is a non-profit, international association representing open shop fire sprinkler contractors, dedicated to the educational advancement of its members and promotion of the use of automatic fire sprinkler systems.
NFPA - National Fire Protection Association is an international nonprofit organization that was established in 1896. The company's mission is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by providing and advocating consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education.
NICET - National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies is a not-for-profit organization created by the National Society of Professional Engineers to serve the certification needs of the engineering technology community.
